Lehigh Valley hosts Providence in Game 3 of their Atlantic Division semifinal series tonight… The Phantoms, 17-1-1-1 in their last 20 home games during the regular season, are looking for their first-ever home win at PPL Center; they were 0-3 on home ice during their opening-round loss to Hershey in 2017… The teams have been off since the Bruins’ 5-3 win in Game 2 on Saturday night, in which Peter Cehlarik (2-0-2) scored twice… Austin Czarnik (0-4-4) recorded two assists for Providence in Game 2, his second consecutive two-assist effort… Jordan Szwarz (1-1-2) scored shorthanded for the Bruins in the Game 2 win, his eighth career Calder Cup Playoff goal… Mike Vecchione (1-1-2) notched a goal and an assist and Danick Martel (2-2-4) recorded two assists for the Phantoms in Game 2… Providence has outshot Lehigh Valley 77-50 in the series, including 27-9 in the third period… The Phantoms are 3-for-8 on the power play thus far; the Bruins are 2-for-10.

The Toronto Marlies get another crack at advancing to the second round as they visit Utica in Game 4 tonight… The Comets staved off elimination with a 5-2 victory on Wednesday night, handing the Marlies their first regulation loss on the road since Feb. 16 at Belleville (8-0-1-1)… Reid Boucher, returning to the Comets lineup for the first time since landing on the injured list while finishing the regular season with the Vancouver Canucks, scored the first of Utica’s three first-period goals in Game 3 to chase Garret Sparks (2-1, 2.77, .894)… Cole Cassels (2-0-2) scored twice in the game for the Comets while Wacey Hamilton (1-1-2) notched a goal and an assist… Nikolay Goldobin (0-4-4) recorded two assists on Wednesday, giving him points in each of the first three games of the series… Calle Rosen (1-1-2) scored on a power play and Colin Greening (2-1-3) struck shorthanded for the Marlies in Game 3… Thatcher Demko (1-2, 2.77, .920) made 35 saves to earn his first career playoff victory… Toronto set an AHL record with 30 road wins during the regular season… Utica has played in front of 132 consecutive capacity crowds at the Adirondack Bank Center (regular season and playoffs).

Tucson hosts San Jose tonight with a chance to move on to the second round… In their first-ever home postseason game on Wednesday, the Roadrunners got on the board 2:27 into Game 3 and rolled to a 6-0 win to take a 2-1 series lead… Lawson Crouse (1-2-3) and Andrew Campbell (1-1-2) tallied a goal and an assist each in the win… Campbell’s two points were his first since Jan. 15 vs. San Diego, ending a 32-game scoreless drought… Dylan Strome (3-3-6) recorded three assists in Game 3; he had seven three-point games during the regular season for Tucson… Adin Hill (2-1, 2.36, .922) made 21 saves to earn his fourth shutout in his last 10 starts… Michael Bunting (1-1-2), Lane Pederson (2-1-3), Mike Sislo (1-0-1) and Mario Kempe (2-2-4) also scored for the Roadrunners, who have still lost back-to-back games only once since Christmas… Antoine Bibeau (1-2, 4.31, .825) allowed five goals on 15 shots before giving way to Stephon Williams, who finished with seven saves on eight shots… The Roadrunners scored on their only power-play chance in Game 3, and are now 1-for-5 in the series; the Barracuda are 2-for-11 on the power play.
