Game 3 – 3:00 ET, AHL Live (Series tied, 1-1)

Due to scheduling conflicts at the XL Center, the Hartford Wolf Pack host the next two games of their Eastern Conference semifinal series at the DCU Center in Worcester, beginning with Game 3 this afternoon… Hershey evened the best-of-seven at 1-1 with a 6-4 victory in Game 2 on Friday night, scoring the final four goals of the game after trailing by two in the second period… Jakub Vrana (2-3-5), a first-round pick by Washington (13th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, broke a 4-4 tie with 1:17 left in the second… Tim Kennedy (3-4-7) and Jim O’Brien (3-1-4) each scored twice for the Bears, and Nate Schmidt (2-5-7) added a goal and two assists… Pheonix Copley (3-1, 1.83, .946) stopped all nine shots he faced in relief of Philipp Grubauer (1-1, 3.30, .901), who allowed four goals on 17 shots… Chris Bourque (3-3-6) and Mat Bodie (2-1-3) each picked up a goal and an assist for the Wolf Pack, who scored four goals in a game for the first time this postseason… Yann Danis (4-3, 1.75, .942), who had allowed just nine goals on 212 shots over his first six starts in these playoffs, gave up five on 28 shots in Game 2… Hershey, 1-for-3 on the power play in Game 2, is 8-for-25 (32.0 percent) this postseason… Hartford’s power play is 2-for-6 in the series after going 3-for-20 in the first round vs. Providence… The Bears have already won two games at the DCU Center this postseason, en route to their first-round victory over the Worcester Sharks.

Alumni Watch
P.A. Parenteau, who had 13-22-35 in 46 Calder Cup Playoff games with Cincinnati, Portland, Norfolk and Hartford between 2004 and 2008, scored with 4:07 remaining in the third period to lift Montreal to a 2-1 win over Tampa Bay in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Second Round playoff series last night… Parenteau was a five-time 20-goal scorer in the AHL before graduating to the NHL full-time in 2010… Devante Smith-Pelly, who scored 27 goals with Norfolk last season, also scored for the Canadiens, who trail the series three games to two.
