The Hartford Wolf Pack evened up the series at two on Monday night in the teams’ last game at Worcester’s DCU Center in the series… Oscar Lindberg (1-7–8) led the way with a goal and two assists, giving him eight points in his last five games and his second three-point game of the postseason… Lindberg had a hand in all three Hartford goals… Joey Crabb (3-1–4) continued to light up his former team, scoring 16:11 into regulation to open the scoring… The goal was his third of the playoffs and gives him a point in each game of the series so far… With his first of the playoffs, Ryan Haggerty (1-1–2) added the insurance goal at 13:09 of the second to seal the deal for the Wolf Pack… Chris Bourque (3-5–8) added two assists in the win for five points in four games… Chris Mueller (3-3–6) added an assist for his third point in the series… Yann Danis (5-4, 1.70, .940) stopped 22-of-23 shots he faced… The game was the first in the series that Hartford drew first blood… Jon Landry (1-0–1) earned his first career Calder Cup point with the lone Hershey goal, picking up a slick no-look pass from Chandler Stephenson (0-3–3) just over halfway through the third period… Philipp Grubauer (2-2, 2.72, .917) stopped 29-of-32 in the loss.

Heading into Rockford for Game 3, the Grand Rapids Griffins have won their last five games, dating back to their series against Toronto… Teemu Pulkkinen (11-1–12) again carried the Griffins to victory, adding two goals and an assist in the 5-1 Game 2 win last Friday night at Van Andel Arena… In two games against Rockford so far, Pulkkinen has six points and a hat trick… He is third in overall scoring, but leads all playoff scorers with 11 goals… Both Kevin Porter (1-3–4) and Tomas Nosek (2-5–7) added two assists apiece for points in back-to-back games against the IceHogs… Brennan Evans (0-1–1), Nicklas Jensen (0-2–2), Brian Lashoff (0-2–2), Alexey Marchenko (0-3–3), and Xavier Ouellet (0-4–4) all recorded an assist… Tyler Bertuzzi (3-3–6), Jeff Hoggan (1-4–5), and Anthony Mantha (1-2–3) added the remaining goals for Grand Rapids… Tom McCollum (5-1, 2.84, .913) earned the win with 28 saves… Brandon Mashinter (2-2–4) opened the game’s scoring with what would be Rockford’s only goal in the loss… Spencer Abbott (2-3–5) and Viktor Svedberg (0-4–4) picked up the assists… Michael Leighton (3-2, 2.81, .917) made 25 saves on 30 shots in the loss.

The Utica Comets and Oklahoma City Barons finished it in regulation in Game 3, with Utica coming out the 3-2 victor and taking the series lead… Alexandre Grenier (2-5–7) posted his second-straight two-point game for the Comets, assisting on the game’s opener by Alex Friesen (1-3–4), and then scoring his own a little over 11 minutes later… Mike Zalewski‘s (1-0–1) first career Calder Cup goal at 4:50 of the third period broke the tie, ending up the game-winner for Utica… Sven Baertschi (1-5–6), Alex Biega (0-1–1), Brandon DeFazio (1-2–3), Cal O’Reilly (0-10–10), and Bobby Sanguinetti (2-3–5) all added assists… Jacob Markstrom (5-3, 1.66, .934) made 20 saves in the win… Andrew Miller (2-3–5) led the way for the Barons, scoring a shorthanded goal and adding an assist for back-to-back two-point games… Josh Winquist (2-1–3) tied the game early in the third with his second of the playoffs, a power-play goal… C.J. Stretch (0-2–2) and Matt Ford (1-7–8) each added assists… Richard Bachman (3-2, 1.22, .960) took the loss, making 25 saves.

Nikita Kucherov put up two goals and an assist last night to help the Tampa Bay Lightning elimintate the Montreal Canadiens in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series, advancing to the Eastern Conference Final… Kucherov had 24 points in 17 games for Syracuse in 2013-14… Ondrej Palat posted a goal and an assist in the win… He had 82 points in 117 AHL games between Norfolk and Syracuse (2011-13)… The NHL affiliates of Hershey and Hartford, the Washington Capitals (Hershey) and New York Rangers (Hartford), play Game 7 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series tonight at Madison Square Garden… The two teams have faced off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs four times in the last five seasons and five times in the last seven seasons… Dan GirardiCarl HagelinJesper FastChris KreiderRyan McDonaghJ.T.
