Rochester tries to snap a three-game winless skid (0-1-1-1) as it visits Copps Coliseum in Hamilton tonight… The Bulldogs have already beated the Americans twice this season, 5-2 on opening night (Oct. 8) and 3-2 in a shootout on Oct. 21… David Leggio (2-2-0, 3.15, .895) and former Bulldog Drew MacIntyre (1-2-1, 2.96, .868) have alternated starts over the first eight games for Rochester, while Derek Whitmore and rookie Zack Kassian continue to lead the Amerks’ offense with 3-4-7 each… Hamilton lost leading scorer Brock Trotter to a trade with the Phoenix organization on Sunday, but added defenseman Garrett Stafford in the deal… Since the start of 2010-11, four of Frederic St. Denis‘s seven regular-season goals have come against the Amerks.

Texas visits Peoria in a rematch of the teams’ wild game in Cedar Park on Saturday, won by the Stars in overtime, 6-5, after the teams had each scored four times in the first period… Rookie forward Matt Fraser (6-2-8), who had the OT winner on Saturday, has had three two-goal games already this season… Texas came back with a 6-2 win in Rockford on Tuesday, going 3-for-5 on the power play to improve to a league-leading 13-for-33 (39.4 percent) for the year… Peoria bounced back from Saturday’s loss with a 5-2 win over Chicago on Sunday… Jonathan Cheechoo, held without a point in the Rivermen’s first four games, has 3-2-5 in the last three.
