The American Hockey League joins the hockey world this week in mourning the loss of John D’Amico, who passed away on Sunday night at the age of 67.
D’Amico, who began his professional career working in the AHL and later served as a supervisor for league games, was inducted into the officials’ category of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993 after a brilliant 23-year on-ice career.
