2004 – Antero Niittymaki becomes the seventh goaltender in AHL history to be credited with a goal when Hershey, needing a win on the last day of the season to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs, pulls its goalie in overtime and accidentally shoots the puck into its own net… 1985 – Current San Antonio Rampage head coach Pat Conacher scores 17 seconds into the fourth overtime period, giving the Nova Scotia Oilers a 4-3 win over the Maine Mariners in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series… 1937 – The Syracuse Stars win the first Calder Cup championship with a 5-0 win over the Philadelphia Ramblers.
