On Tuesday night, Warren Peters and Eric Godard scored in the third period to give Omaha a 3-1 win over visiting Hamilton… On Monday, Brandon Bochenski scored his 30th and 31st goals of the season to help Norfolk past Bridgeport, 3-2… Garrett Stafford’s second overtime goal of the year gave Worcester a 3-2 win in Lowell… Manchester scored three power-play goals in the second period en route to a 5-2 win at Springfield.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Syracuse has earned points in eight of its last 10 games (5-2-0-3) in an effort to pick itself up off the mat in the North Division… But the Crunch get a stern test on Wednesday when they visit Wilkes-Barre/Scranton… Syracuse won its only previos visit to the Wachovia Arena this season, a 5-3 decision on Nov. 29… Derrick Walser was credited with 11 shots and finished with the game-tying goal and an assist in the Crunch’s 4-3 shootout win over Binghamton on Monday… Rookie forward Olivier Labelle also picked up a goal and an assist Monday afternoon… Tyler Kennedy has nine points (5g, 4a) in Wilkes-Barre’s last four games… Former Crunch goalie Andrew Penner has won his last six decisions for the Penguins.

Rochester continues its road jaunt in Peoria on Wednesday, fresh off a come-from-behind 5-4 shootout win at Iowa Tuesday night… The Americans have won four in a row after erasing a three-goal deficit against the Stars… Mark Mancari scored twice in regulation and Michael Ryan scored twice in the seven-round shootout on Tuesday… Peoria is 6-3-0-0 in its last nine games, allowing three goals or fewer in each… Yan Stastny, looking to make his Rivermen debut after being acquired by St. Louis from Boston on Tuesday, has a point in each of his last six AHL games with Providence (3g, 7a)… Rochester won the only previous meeting this season between the clubs, a 3-1 victory on Oct. 20 with Drew Larman scoring twice and Craig Anderson making 50 saves.

Manitoba brings an 11-game points streak into a two-game set with San Antonio at the MTS Centre, beginning Wednesday night… The Moose are 7-0-2-2 since Dec. 17 and have just one regulation loss in their last 16 outings (11-1-2-2)… The Rampage have won six of their last eight overall, but show a 2-18-2-1 mark in their last 23 road games, going back to last season… Donald MacLean, last season’s AHL MVP, ran his scoring streak to five games (2g, 3a) with an assist in Sunday’s 6-0 win over Houston, and David LeNeveu made 35 saves for his first shutout of the season… Jason Jaffray has scored a goal in seven straight games for Manitoba and now has 24 goals on the season, double his output from 2005-06… Drew MacIntyre is 7-1-0 with a 1.77 GAA and a .942 save percentage in his last 10 appearances for the Moose.

Islanders, 5-2… Two-time AHL All-Star Kari Lehtonen stopped 28 shots in Atlanta’s 6-2 win over Los Angeles… Joe Motzko netted his first career NHL goal and 2002 AHL All-Star Jason Chimera scored in overtime to give Columbus a 5-4 win over Chicago… On Monday, Peter Sejna scored the tying goal in St. Louis’s 5-4 shootout loss to Phoenix.
