Fox tallied two goals and an assist as Worcester took a 5-1 win at Manchester… Ryan Carter’s shorthanded goal and Gerald Coleman’s 25-save shutout helped Portland edge Springfield, 1-0… Kurtis McLean scored with 1:09 left in regulation to give Wilkes-Barre/Scranton a 3-2 victory at Philadelphia.

On Tuesday, Portland hosts Manchester on the campus of the University of Maine in Orono… The Pirates are in 4-1-0-0 in their last five games and hold fourth place in the Atlantic Division, eight points ahead of the fifth-place Monarchs… Geoff Platt had a point in each of his first 10 games with Portland (7-10-17) before going scoreless in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Springfield… Portland’s Brian Salcido (7-19-26) and Manchester’s Peter Harrold (6-20-26) are tied for the league lead in scoring among defensemen, with Monarchs rookie Brian Boyle third (9-13-22)… Boyle has scored four of his nine goals this season in five meetings with the Pirates… Manchester’s Teddy Purcell is tops among rookies and second overall in the AHL with 34 points (9-25-34)… The Monarchs boast the league’s top-ranked power play (26.2 percent) but are 29th on the penalty kill (75.4%).

Also Tuesday, Rockford visits the AT&T Center in San Antonio for the second time in three nights… The West Division-leading IceHogs dropped a 4-3 shootout decision to the Rampage on Sunday but picked up a standings point for a 10th straight outing (7-0-0-3)… Center Martin St. Pierre leads all AHL skaters in scoring (12-24-36), including a current eight-game streak (4-8-12)… Troy Brouwer has a goal in four of his last five contests for the IceHogs, and he paces the AHL with 12 power-play tallies on the season… Corey Crawford has been in net for all 10 games of Rockford’s current hot streak and sports a 1.72 GAA and .940 save percentage over that span… San Antonio has two games left on a season-high 11-game homestand (5-3-1-0)… Bill Thomas paces the Rampage with five points (2-3-5) in four games against Rockford, including a goal and an assist on Sunday… Enver Lisin had a seven-game scoring streak (3-5-8) snapped in Sunday’s win… San Antonio goaltender David LeNeveu is 3-0-0 with a 1.58 GAA over his last three starts.

Hershey hosts Binghamton on Wednesday as the teams make up Sunday’s postponed affair… The Bears and Senators enter the tilt tied for third place in the East Division with 30 points apiece… Bears winger Grant Potulny, who played the past three years in Binghamton, has three goals in three games against his former club this season… Potulny has 17 points on the season (9-8-17), tied with Kyle Wilson (6-11-17) for the Bears’ team lead… Binghamton’s Denis Hamel leads the league with 17 goals, including seven power-play goals and four game-winners… Goaltender Jeff Glass (8-7-1) has lost three straight starts but still sits second in the league with a .928 save percentage… The Senators lead the AHL with 10 shorthanded goals this season; Justin Mapletoft is the league’s individual leader with four man-down tallies.
