Barons agree to terms with Green

The Oklahoma City Barons have agreed to terms with veteran forward Josh Green on a one-year American Hockey League contract, general manager Bill Scott announced today.

Green spent the 2011-12 season in the Edmonton Oilers organization, playing in 51 games for Oklahoma City, tallying 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points along with a plus-19 rating. He added one goal and one assist in six NHL games with the Oilers last season.

The 15-year pro has played in 386 games in the American Hockey League, totaling 114 goals and 150 assists for 264 points with the Barons, Syracuse Crunch, Iowa Chops, Manitoba Moose, Lowell Lock Monsters, Hamilton Bulldogs, Springfield Falcons and Fredericton Canadiens.

He has also compiled 36 goals and 40 assists for 76 points in 341 NHL games with Edmonton, Anaheim, Vancouver, the N.Y. Rangers, Calgary, Washington, the N.Y. Islanders and Los Angeles.
