Barons finish off Rampage in Game 5

Ryan Keller‘s second goal of the night came with 2:06 remaining in regulation and gave the Oklahoma City Barons a 4-3 win over the host San Antonio Rampage on Friday night.

The Game 5 victory sends the Barons into the Western Conference Finals with a 4-1 series triumph. Oklahoma City will meet Toronto beginning Thursday for the right to play for the Calder Cup.

The Barons seemed in control with a two-goal lead early in the third period, but Scott Timmins and Mark Cullen scored 22 seconds apart to tie the score for the Rampage.

Mark Arcobello got Oklahoma City on the board first with just four seconds remaining in the opening period, scoring the first of three Barons power-play goals on the night.

Bryan Rodney doubled the lead at 9:26 of the second period, but Michal Repik cut it back to 2-1 with 1:54 remaining until intermission.

Yann Danis stopped 22 of 25 shots and earned his fourth straight one-goal win after the Barons dropped Game 1 of the series. Oklahoma City is now 5-0 on the road this postseason.

Jacob Markstrom finished with 27 saves for the Rampage.
