Barracuda hold off Gulls to take Game 4

San Jose is one win away from the Western Conference Finals after holding on for a 4-3 victory in San Diego on Friday night.

Up three games to one in the Pacific Division Finals, the Barracuda look to advance with another road win in Game 5 on Saturday (10 p.m. ET).

Barclay Goodrow, Ryan Carpenter and Tim Heed scored power-play goals for San Jose and Colin Blackwell found the net for the second straight game as the Barracuda opened up a 4-1 lead through two periods.

Goodrow added two assists for a three-point night, and Joakim Ryan registered two assists as well.

Nic Kerdiles and Sam Carrick tallied a goal and an assist each and Mitch Hults scored a goal in his playoff debut for the Gulls, who were 5-0 at home against the Barracuda this season before losing Games 3 and 4 of this series.

Troy Grosenick (6-3) made 29 saves to earn the victory.

Jhonas Enroth (4-5) stopped 15 of 19 shots in two periods of work for the Gulls; Dustin Tokarski made seven saves in the third.
