The San Jose Barracuda have signed forward T.J. Hensick.
Hensick is a 12th-year pro with 630 games of AHL experience and four AHL All-Star Classics on his resume. He has spent this season in the ECHL with Toledo, where he has recorded a league-high 58 points in 47 games.
Originally selected by Colorado in the third round of the 2005 NHL Draft, Hensick has collected 166 goals and 402 assists for 568 points in the AHL with Lake Erie, Peoria, Hartford, Hamilton, Charlotte, Utica and Ontario. He is tied for 62nd on the AHL’s all-time scoring list.
The native of Howell, Mich., has also recorded 12 goals and 26 assists for 38 points in 112 NHL games with Colorado and St. Louis.
