Bears-Bruins showdown set for round two

The schedule has been set for the Atlantic Division Finals of the 2017 Calder Cup Playoffs, with the Hershey Bears ready to take on the Providence Bruins.

Game 1 will be Saturday night at Giant Center.

The two lower seeds in the Atlantic Division advanced with road wins in their winner-take-all Game 5’s on Sunday afternoon. Providence finished off an upset of the AHL’s regular-season champions from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, while Hershey eliminated Lehigh Valley with their third road victory of the series.

The Bears and Bruins last met in the postseason in 2013, when Providence erased an 0-2 series deficit to win in five games.
