Bears ink Bailey to tryout

The Hershey Bears announced today that they have signed forward Casey Bailey to a professional tryout agreement.

Bailey, an AHL All-Star in 2017, spent last season with HC Slovan Bratislava in the KHL.

The 27-year-old native of Anchorage, Alaska, last skated in the AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in 2017-18, recording 18 goals and 23 assists for 41 points in 76 games. He set a career best with 21 goals in 2016-17, playing for the Binghamton Senators.

In 206 career AHL games with Bridgeport, Binghamton and Toronto, Bailey has totaled 50 goals and 67 assists for 117 points.

The Penn State University product has skated in 13 games in the NHL with Toronto and Ottawa, registering one goal.
