The St. Louis Blues have acquired goaltender Jared Coreau from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for future considerations.

Coreau will report to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Coreau, 27, has appeared in 13 games with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls this season, posting a 3-6-3 record to go along with a 3.57 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage.

For his AHL career, Coreau has made 161 AHL appearances with San Diego and Grand Rapids, going 91-60-15 with a 2.52 GAA, a .916 save percentage and 13 shutouts. The native of Perth, Ont., has also appeared in 21 career National Hockey League (NHL) regular-season games, tallying a 5-9-4 record with Detroit (3.72, .880).

Coreau is also 18-8 in 26 postseason outings, backstopping the Griffins to the Calder Cup in 2017.
