Blues agree to terms with Kristo

The St. Louis Blues, NHL affiliate of the AHL’s Chicago Wolves, have agreed to terms with forward Danny Kristo to a one-year, two-way contract.

Kristo, 25, notched 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 72 games with the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack in 2014-15, his second professional season out of the University of North Dakota. He added three goals and three assists in 15 games during the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Originally drafted by Montreal in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Kristo had 25 goals and 43 points in 65 games as a rookie with Hartford in 2013-14.

The native of Edina, Minn., was acquired by the New York Rangers in a trade for Christian Thomas on July 2, 2013.
