Blues sign Ferraro to two-way contract

The St. Louis Blues, NHL affiliate of the AHL’s Chicago Wolves, have signed forward Landon Ferraro to a one-year, two-way contract.

Ferraro, 24, appeared in 68 NHL games between Detroit and Boston in 2015-16, totaling five goals and five assists for 10 points. A second-round draft choice by the Red Wings in 2009, Ferraro has totaled six goals and five assists in 75 career NHL contests.

Ferraro has played 270 regular-season games in the AHL, all with the Grand Rapids Griffins, and has notched 75 goals and 65 assists for 140 points. He also has six goals and 13 assists in 33 postseason games and was a member of the Griffins’ Calder Cup championship team in 2013.
