Blum assigned to Milwaukee

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Jonathon Blum to Milwaukee (AHL).

Blum has five points (2g-3a) in 27 games for the Predators in 2011-12, after posting three goals and five assists in 23 games for Nashville at the end of last season.

The Long Beach, Calif., native played two years with the Admirals, totaling 18 goals and 57 assists for 75 points and a plus-24 rating in 134 games.

Blum was a first-round draft pick (23rd overall) by Nashville in 2007.
