Bruins sign Goloubef, McNeill

The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Cody Goloubef and forward Mark McNeill to one-year, two-way contracts.

Goloubef spent the 2017-18 season with the AHL’s Stockton Heat, recording eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 46 games. He also represented Canada at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Over eight pro seasons, Goloubef has skated in 265 AHL games with Stockton, Cleveland, San Antonio and Springfield, totaling 28 goals and 70 assists for 98 points. He was an AHL All-Star in 2014.

A second-round draft pick by Columbus in 2008, Goloubef has played 129 NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Colorado.

McNeill, 25, split last season between Texas and Milwaukee in the AHL, tallying 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points in 49 games.

Entering his sixth pro season in 2018-19, the 2015 AHL All-Star has played 343 regular-season games in the AHL with Rockford, Texas and Milwaukee, totaling 89 goals and 104 assists for 193 points.

Chicago’s first-round choice (18th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft, McNeill has skated in two career NHL games, one with the Blackhawks and one with Dallas.
