The Providence Bruins clinched a spot in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs on Saturday night with a 5-3 victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds.
The Bruins will be making their seventh consecutive trip to the AHL postseason, and will take on the regular-season champion Charlotte Checkers in the opening round.
