Calder Cup action to air on SiriusXM

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League has announced that SiriusXM NHL Network Radio will be airing select games from the 2016 Calder Cup Playoffs, beginning with coverage of Game 5 of the Central Division Finals between the Lake Erie Monsters and the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday night. 

The Monsters, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, hold a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series over the Griffins, the top affiliate of the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings. Saturday’s game will be carried live on NHL Network Radio (SiriusXM 91) at 7 p.m. ET.

This marks the 11th consecutive season that AHL action will air on NHL Network Radio, including the annual AHL All-Star Game, the Calder Cup Finals and other regular-season and playoff games.
