Calgary sends Chucko to QC, recalls Sutter, Van der Gulik

qclogo_200.jpgCalgary Flames general manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forward Kris Chucko has been reassigned to the Quad City Flames (AHL), while forwards Brett Sutter and David Van der Gulik have been recalled from Quad City.

Chucko, 22, played his first two NHL games during his call-up, averaging 7:01 minutes of ice time and picked up one minor penalty. In 56 games for Quad City this season, the third-year pro has set career highs with 20 goals, 18 assists and 38 points.

Sutter, 21, has eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points in 56 games for Quad City this season. He has one goal in three NHL games with Calgary.

Van der Gulik, 25, has recorded 14 goals and 13 assists in 58 games for the AHL Flames. He has one assist in three NHL games for Calgary.
