Canucks sign Bailey to one-year deal

The Vancouver Canucks have signed right wing Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract.

Bailey, 24, appeared in 54 AHL games between the Rochester Americans and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2018-19, collecting 15 goals and 13 assists for 28 points. He also appeared in 11 NHL games with Philadelphia, recording one assist.

An AHL All-Star in 2017, Bailey has played 213 AHL games over four pro seasons, totaling 68 goals and 56 assists for 124 points.

The Buffalo, N.Y., native was selected by his hometown Sabres in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft, and has tallied five goals and four assists in 63 career NHL games with the Sabres and Flyers.
