Canucks sign McIntyre, Graovac

The Vancouver Canucks have signed goaltender Zane McIntyre and forward Tyler Graovac to one-year contracts.

McIntyre, 26, completed his fourth pro season in 2018-19 with a record of 25-14-7 in 46 appearances for the AHL’s Providence Bruins. McIntyre had a 2.59 goals-against average and an .898 save percentage to go with two shutouts.

A Second Team All-Star in 2016-17, McIntyre has played 155 career games in the AHL, all with Providence, and has a record of 86-43-20 (2.47, .910) with 11 shutouts.

The native of Thief River Falls, Minn., also made his NHL debut in 2016-17 and appeared in eight games with Boston (0-4-1, 3.97, .858).

McIntyre was taken by Boston in the sixth round at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
