Clemmensen to Lowell as New Jersey activates Brodeur

low06_200.jpgThe New Jersey Devils announced that Martin Brodeur has been activated from injured reserve, and that Scott Clemmensen, who was recalled under emergency conditions on Nov. 3, has been assigned to Lowell (AHL).

Defenseman Anssi Salmela has also returned to New Jersey’s AHL affiliate.

Clemmensen had a record of 25-13-1 with a 2.39 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage in 40 games with New Jersey during Brodeur’s absence. He began the season with Lowell and was 4-3-1 in eight appearances.

Salmela has eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 36 games with Lowell this season, along with three assists in 17 NHL games with New Jersey.
