The Arizona Coyotes have acquired defenseman John Ramage from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for future considerations.

In 33 games with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters this season, Ramage has tallied two goals and seven assists for nine points.

The fifth-year pro has appeared in 277 career AHL games with Cleveland, Adirondack and Abbotsford, totaling 17 goals and 60 assists for 77 points. He was a member of the Monsters’ Calder Cup championship team in 2016.

A fourth-round draft choice by Calgary in 2010, Ramage has also skated in two career NHL games, one with the Flames and one with the Blue Jackets.
