The Syracuse Crunch have signed forward Shane Conacher to a one-year AHL contract.
Conacher, 23, is entering his second pro season in 2017-18. He posted two goals and nine assists in 25 games with Orlando (ECHL) last year, and also skated in three AHL games with the Toronto Marlies.
A native of Burlington, Ont., Conacher made his pro debut with the Marlies in the spring of 2016, collecting two goals and one assist in seven games. Prior to turning pro, Conacher spent three seasons at Canisius College.
Conacher is the younger brother of two-time AHL All-Star Cory Conacher, who led the Crunch in scoring last season.
