Cullen returns to Rampage

Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced that center Mark Cullen has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

In addition, the Rampage have reassigned right wing Anthony Luciani to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Cullen was recalled by the Panthers on Nov. 29 and played in three games with Florida averaging eight minutes of ice time. He has recorded 12 points (2-10-12) and 14 PIM in 19 games with the Rampage this season.

The center has played in 35 NHL games in his career, registering 16 points (7-9-16) with Florida (2011), Chicago (2005-06) and Philadelphia (2006-07). Originally signed by the Panthers on July 22, 2010, the Virginia, Minn., native has also recorded 404 points (145-259-404) in 523 AHL games over his professional career.

Luciani, 21, was recalled by the Rampage on Dec. 10 and played in one game. He returns to Cincinnati where he ranks second on the team in scoring with 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) in 16 games with the Cyclones this season. Last season he posted three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in three AHL games with Rochester to finish the 2010-11 campaign.
