Ducks acquire Blandisi in deal with Devils

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired forwards Adam Henrique and Joe Blandisi, along with a third-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for defenseman Sami Vatanen and a conditional third-round pick in the 2019 or 2020 NHL Draft.

Blandisi, 23, has three goals and 11 assists for 14 points in 19 AHL games with the Binghamton Devils this season, his third pro campaign. Blandisi has totaled 20 goals and 42 assists for 62 points in 77 career regular-season contests in the AHL, along with two goals and one assist in 13 Calder Cup Playoff matches.

Originally drafted by Colorado in 2012, Blandisi has appeared in 68 career NHL games with New Jersey, collecting eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points.
