Four of Albany’s top five scorers are rookies: Barry Tallackson, David Clarkson, Petr Vrana and Nicklas Bergfors.

Rob Collins assisted on both goals, and remains one point ahead of Hamilton (151-150) on Bridgeport’s all-time scoring list. The Sound Tigers hit the road for seven straight games, beginning with two contests this weekend in Norfolk.

Philadelphia set a season high with its fifth straight win on Friday, a 3-2 victory over Providence in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference final. The Phantoms had earned a point in 12 straight home games (7-0-1-4) before Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Toronto. Jim Campbell picked up four goals and two assists in four games for Philadelphia last week.

Providence rallied from two goals down to earn a 3-2 shootout win in Hershey on Sunday evening, the Bruins’ first road victory since Feb. 8. Pascal Pelletier has picked up eight points in his last four games, and has 33 points in 34 contests for Providence. The Bruins enter the week six points up on Lowell in the race for the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division.

Steve McLaren returned from injury and made his season debut on Sunday. After starting the season 11-4-1, rookie goaltender Gerald Coleman is winless in his last 15 decisions (0-13-2).
