Falcons sign Aulin to PTO

The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they have signed center Jared Aulin to a professional tryout agreement. 
 
Aulin spent the 2005-06 season with the Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears, collecting 11 goals and 28 assists for 39 points in 61 games. He appeared in five postseason matches for the Bears.

The 6-foot, 192-pound native of Calgary was a second-round draft pick by the Colorado Avalanche in 2000, and has appeared in 180 AHL games over the last four seasons with Hershey, Portland and Manchester. Aulin has recorded 36 goals and 89 assists for 125 points in the AHL.

 
Aulin, 24, has also skated in 17 career NHL games, all with Los Angeles in 2002-03. He notched two goals and two assists for the Kings.

The Falcons open their 2006-07 season in Hartford on Saturday night.
