The Manitoba Moose have announced that Game 1 of the 2009 Calder Cup Finals between the Moose and Hershey Bears is sold out at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.
With 15,003 tickets sold, it will be the seventh-largest crowd in AHL postseason history and the sixth-largest for a Finals game. The five larger Finals crowds were all for championship-clinching games.
Tonight’s game begins at 8:30 p.m. ET, and can be seen on AHL Live including extensive pre- and post-game coverage.
The Moose would also like to announce over 10,700 tickets have already been sold for Tuesday’s Game 2. Tickets for Game 2, as well as Games 6 and 7, are still available by calling the Moose office at 204-987-7825, by calling TicketMaster at 204-780-3333 or by going online at www.ticketmaster.ca.
