Golden Knights sign seven

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forwards Brandon Pirri, Daniel Carr, Alex Gallant and Curtis McKenzie; defenseman Jimmy Oligny; and goaltenders Maxime Lagace and Zach Fucale.

Pirri, 27, appeared in 57 AHL games with the Chicago Wolves last season, tallying 29 goals and 23 assists for 52 points. He added three goals in two NHL games with Vegas.

The AHL’s scoring champion in 2012-13, Pirri has compiled 97 goals and 155 assists for 252 points in 295 career AHL games with Chicago and Rockford.

Pirri has also appeared in 228 regular-season games in the NHL with Chicago, Florida, Anaheim, the N.Y. Rangers and Vegas, totaling 60 goals and 41 assists for 101 points.

Carr, 26, talleid 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points in 20 AHL games with the Laval Rocket last season, as well as six goals and 10 assists for 16 points in 38 NHL games with the Montreal Canadiens.

Carr has recorded 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points in 94 career NHL contests, all with the Canadiens. He also has 51 goals and 39 assists for 90 points in 139 AHL games with Laval, St. John’s and Hamilton.

Gallant, 25, registered one goal, two assists and a league-high 194 penalty minutes in 38 AHL games with the Syracuse Crunch last season. He has totaled two goals, four assists and 442 PIM in 94 career AHL contests.

McKenzie, 27, captained the Texas Stars to the Calder Cup Finals last season, recording 25 goals and 23 assists in 51 regular-season games in 2017-18. He also notched 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in 22 postseason contests.

McKenzie, the AHL’s rookie of the year and a Calder Cup champion in 2013-14, has collected 82 goals and 108 assists for 190 points in 223 regular-season games in the AHL. He also has 10 goals and 13 assists in 99 NHL games with Dallas.

Oligny, 25, recorded two goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 66 AHL games with Milwaukee in 2017-18, his fourth AHL season.

Oligny notched seven goals and 36 assists for 43 points in 259 career AHL games with the Admirals.

Lagace, 25, was 14-5-2 (2.84, .905) in 23 appearances with the Chicago Wolves last season. He also made his NHL debut with Vegas and appeared in 16 games with the Golden Knights.

Lagace has played 92 career AHL games with Chicago and Texas, posting a record of 44-27-8 with a 3.09 GAA, a .902 save percentage and two shutouts.

Fucale, 23, was 10-7-0 (3.26, .890) in 18 games with the AHL’s Laval Rocket in 2017-18. A second-round pick by Montreal in the 2013 NHL Draft, Fucale is 27-28-4 in 63 career AHL contests, with a 3.13 GAA, a .900 save percentage and two shutouts.
