Goren’s hat trick leads Moose to win

Lee Goren scored three times to lead Manitoba to a 4-1 win over Cincinnati at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on Thursday night.

It was the second hat trick of the season for Goren, who now has 14 goals in 21 games.

Jason King also scored for Manitoba, and Alex Auld made 19 saves.

Zenon Konopka scored shorthanded for the only Cincinnati marker.

Also on Thursday, Ryan Miller made 40 saves for Rochester in a 3-2 win over Houston at the Toyota Center.

Michael Ryan, Thomas Vanek and Geoff Peters scored for the Amerks, while Stephane Veilleux got both goals for the Aeros.
