The San Diego Gulls have signed left wing Ben Thomson to a one-year AHL contract.
Thomson, 25, recorded five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 64 games with the AHL’s Binghamton Devils last season, his fourth pro campaign.
Drafted by New Jersey in the fourth round in 2012, Thomson has skated in 276 games with the Devils’ AHL affiliates in Binghamton and Albany, totaling 25 goals and 32 assists for 57 points.
Thomson has also appeared in three NHL games with New Jersey.
