San Diego is off to the Pacific Division Finals following a 4-1 win over Ontario in their winner-take-all Game 5 at Valley View Casino Center on Tuesday night.

The Gulls blitzed emergency Ontario starter Jack Flinn for three goals in a span of 2:37 midway through the first period, taking a 3-0 lead and never looking back. Flinn got the start after Jack Campbell was initially ruled out after suffering an injury in Game 4 on Monday, and Jeff Zatkoff went down injured during pre-game warmups.

Campbell dressed and eventually replaced Flinn (8 saves) at the 11:40 mark of the first.

Nic Kerdiles tallied a goal and two assists, Kevin Roy notched a goal and an assist and Jhonas Enroth made 37 saves to send the Gulls to the division finals for the second consecutive postseason.

Keaton Thompson and Jordan Samuels-Thomas also scored for San Diego.

Brett Sutter notched the only goal for the Reign in Game 5. Campbell stopped 14 of 15 shots in his relief outing.
