Andrew Hammond made 30 saves for his second shutout of the season as the Iowa Wild defeated the Bakersfield Condors, 1-0, on Friday night.

The loss snapped the Condors’ winning streak at 17 games, leaving them tied for the second-longest run in AHL history.

Dmitry Sokolov scored the game’s only goal at 10:25 of the first period.

Bakersfield had not lost since Jan. 11.

Shane Starrett, who finished with 15 saves, saw his personal 14-game winning streak come to an end.

The 2011-12 Norfolk Admirals own the AHL record for longest winning streak (28), also an all-time professional hockey record. The Philadelphia Phantoms won 17 in a row during the 2004-05 season.
