Hudler lifts Griffins to OT win

Jiri Hudler finished off a hat trick with the game-winning goal 28 seconds into overtime as Grand Rapids posted a 4-3 win in San Antonio on Sunday evening.

Hudler scored a pair of power-play goals in 71 seconds spanning the first and second periods, and Matt Ellis added a shorthanded goal as the Griffins took a 3-1 lead into the third.

But Juraj Kolnik picked up his second goal of the night with 15:59 remaining, then assisted on Greg Campbell‘s tying goal with 7:48 left.

Joey MacDonald made 21 saves as the Griffins improved to 4-0-0-0 on the season.
