Jets acquire Broadhurst from Columbus

The Winnipeg Jets have acquired forward Alex Broadhurst from the Columbus Blue Jackets for future considerations.

He will remain with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.

Broadhurst has tallied eight goals and 21 assists for 29 points in 48 games for the Monsters this season.

A sixth-year pro from Orland Park, Ill., Broadhurst has appeared in 330 career AHL games with Cleveland/Lake Erie and Rockford, tallying 70 goals and 120 assists for 190 points. He won a Calder Cup championship with the Monsters in 2016.

Originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2011, Broadhurst made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets in 2017-18, appearing in two games.
