Jets agree to terms with Sgarbossa, Robinson, Schilling

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have agreed to terms with forward Michael Sgarbossa on a one-year, one-way contract; forward Buddy Robinson on a one-year, two-way contract; and defenseman Cameron Schilling on a one-year, two-way contract.

Sgarbossa, 24, split last season in the Anaheim Ducks and Florida Panthers organizations, totaling two goals and seven assists in 38 NHL games. He also had five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 16 games between San Diego and Springfield in the AHL.

Sgarbossa has played 244 career AHL games, totaling 56 goals and 103 assists for 159 points. In 48 NHL contests with Anaheim, Florida, and Colorado, he has recorded two goals and eight assists for 10 points.

Robinson, 25, split last season between the Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks organizations, including four NHL games with Ottawa. He also had 17 goals and 14 assists for 31 points in 66 AHL games between Binghamton and San Jose.

In the Calder Cup Playoffs, Robinson tallied four goals and five assists for nine points in 15 games, helping the Barracuda reach the Western Conference Finals.

Robinson has played 278 career games in the AHL, tallying 59 goals and 64 assists for 123 points.

Schilling, 28, appeared in 72 games last season between the Rockford IceHogs and the Ontario Reign, totaling eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points.

Schilling has played in four NHL games in his career, all with the Washington Capitals. He has also appeared in 355 games in the AHL with Hershey, Rockford, and Ontario, with 26 goals and 72 assists for 98 points.
