Jets sign Brossoit

The Winnipeg Jets announced today that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Laurent Brossoit on a one-year contract.

Brossoit played 29 AHL games with Bakersfield in 2017-18, going 15-10-4 with a 2.68 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. He was also 3-7-1 in 14 NHL games with Edmonton last season.

Brossoit has made 144 career AHL appearances with Bakersfield, Oklahoma City and Abbotsford, posting a record of 69-55-14 with a 2.71 GAA, a .913 save percentage and nine shutouts. He was an AHL All-Star in 2016.

Originally drafted by Calgary in 2011, Brossoit has a record of 7-13-2 (2.97, .897) in 28 career NHL appearances.
