Kings agree to terms with Frk

The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms with forward Martin Frk on a one-year, two-way contract.

Frk, 25, recorded one goal and five assists in 30 NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings in 2018-19. He also registered five goals and nine assists for 14 points in 13 AHL games with the Grand Rapids Griffins.

A second-round choice by Detroit in the 2012 NHL Draft, Frk has skated in 100 NHL games with Detroit and Carolina, totaling 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points.

Frk has played 227 games in the AHL, all with Grand Rapids, and has notched 68 goals and 64 assists for 132 points. He won a Calder Cup with the Griffins in 2017, scoring the winning goal in the Finals-clinching victory over Syracuse.
