Knights take round 2 in match up at Houston

2007 AHL All-Star Dustin Boyd netted a goal and two assists on the night as Omaha earned its 30th win of the season by edging the Houston Aeros 4-3 at the Toyota center on Thursday night.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights sought revenge against the Aeros after a 2-1 shootout loss two nights ago opened up a two-game set at Houston.

Curtis McElhinney backstopped the Knights to the win by making 28 saves to earn his 21st victory of the year.

Defenseman Tim Hambly recorded a goal, the eventual game-winner, and an assist for Omaha, which travels to Rochester to play the third game of its six-game road trip on Saturday.

Matt Foy had a pair of goals in the loss for Houston, which has now participated in eight straight games decided by one goal.
