Last-second tally lifts Sharks to sixth straight win

Mathieu Darche (pictured) played the hero for Worcester, scoring in dramatic fashion to cap a Sharks comeback and defeat the San Antonio Rampage, 3-2, at the AT&T Center on Thursday night.

Darche netted two goals on the night, including a power-play goal with 0.4 seconds left in overtime, to extend Worcester’s winning streak to six games.

Thomas Greiss made 15 saves on the night to earn his sixth win in a row and 22nd overall this season.

The victory allows the Sharks to jump two spots in the standings, positioning them in third place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 36-25-3-8 and 83 points.

Graham Mink provided the other goal and Garrett Stafford added two assists in the win for the Sharks, who continue their Texas swing at Houston on Saturday.

Chris Ferraro had a goal and an assist and Alex Leavitt had two helpers in the loss for the Rampage.
