The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has acquired on loan left wing Robb Palahnuk from the St. John’s Leafs, and in exchange has loaned defenseman Joel Kwiatkowski to the Toronto Maple Leafs’ affiliate.
Kwiatkowski, 27, registered 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points in 64 games with the Rampage. The Kinderslsley, Sask., native ranks second in goals scored among all AHL defensemen this season.
Palahnuk, 24, has recorded one assist and 91 penalty minutes in 44 games with St. John’s this season. In his 134 AHL career games, the 6-foot, 190-pound Palahnuk has recorded eight goals and eight assists for 16 points with 250 penalty minutes.
