SYRACUSE 2, LAKE ERIE 1 (OT)
Joakim Lindstrom scored at 3:49 of overtime to propel Syracuse to a 2-1 road win over Lake Erie on Tuesday at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Clay Wilson picked up the primary assist on the game-winner, which was Lindstrom’s team-leading 18th goal and 44th point of the season. Lindstrom and Wilson will be teammates on the 2008 PlanetUSA AHL All-Star team.

Both teams scored on the power play in regulation. Adam Pineault gave the Crunch a 1-0 lead in the first period, but Lake Erie’s Wyatt Smith tallied his first goal of the season in the middle stanza.

Lindstrom’s overtime goal, which was also assisted by Zenon Konopka, was his fourth game-winner of the campaign, giving him a share of the team lead in that category.

Crunch goaltender Adam Munro picked up the victory with 24 saves on 25 shots.

Syracuse is now 3-1-1-0 against the Monsters this season, with the visiting team having won every game in the season series thus far.

SAN ANTONIO 4, PEORIA 1

With his team ahead 2-1, Tenute provided insurance at 2:07 of the final stanza and added an empty-net goal at 18:26.

Peoria initially took a 1-0 advantage when defenseman Micki DuPont, also a 2008 AHL All-Star, notched his fifth of the season at 6:22 of the first period.

Chris Durno tied it for the Rampage at 14:37 of the first, and Nate DiCasmirro put San Antonio on top to stay with 1:24 left in the second period.
