Lundmark named Player of the Month

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Quad City Flames center Jamie Lundmark has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for November. In 13 games last month, Lundmark tallied five goals and 14 assists for 19 points.

Lundmark assisted on the game-winning goal in a 5-1 victory over San Antonio on Nov. 8, then dished out four assists in a 4-2 win over the Rampage the next night. He had another four-point game less than a week later, scoring the winning goal and assisting on three others in a 5-3 decision over Peoria on Nov. 14. Lundmark scored the game-tying goal in a 5-4 shootout loss to Rockford on Nov. 22, and registered a goal and an assist in a 6-4 win over San Antonio on Nov. 28. He finished the month with a goal and an assist late in the third period of the Flames’ 4-3 overtime loss at Chicago on Nov. 29.

In recognition of his achievement, Lundmark will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Flames home game.

Lundmark finished November ranked tied for second in the AHL in assists (19) and tied for fourth in points (25) in 23 games for Quad City. An Edmonton native, Lundmark was the ninth overall pick in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and has recorded 70 goals and 109 assists for 179 points in 243 career AHL games with Quad City, Lake Erie, San Antonio and Hartford. In 232 career NHL contests with Los Angeles, Calgary, Phoenix and the N.Y. Rangers, Lundmark has totaled 27 goals and 44 assists for 71 points.
