Marlies sign Glass to AHL deal

The Toronto Marlies announced today that the club has signed goaltender Jeff Glass to an AHL contract.

Glass posted a 15-9-2 record in 28 appearances with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs in 2017-18, with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage.

The 32-year-old Calgary native also made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks last season and went 3-7-3 (3.36, .898) in 15 appearances.

Originally selected by Ottawa in the third round of the 2004 NHL Draft, Glass has played 183 games in the AHL with Rockford, Toronto and Binghamton, showing a record of 66-87-13 with a 3.21 GAA, a .903 save percentage and five shutouts.
