The Condors are starting to soar into rarefied air.

AHL All-Star Cooper Marody scored off a terrific individual effort to give Bakersfield a 2-1 overtime win over Ontario at Rabobank Arena on Saturday night, the Condors’ 15th consecutive victory.

It was the third OT winner of the season for the rookie Marody and allowed Bakersfield, top affiliate of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers, to match the fourth-longest winning streak in American Hockey League history.

Kailer Yamamoto also scored and Stuart Skinner stopped 19 shots for the Condors (31-15-2-1), who have opened up a five-point lead over San Jose and San Diego atop the Pacific Division. They have not lost since Jan. 11 and have outscored their opponents 69-31 during the streak.

Bakersfield returns to action on Feb. 23 at Tucson.
