Milwaukee shuts out Rampage

Brian Finley made 25 saves and 12 different skaters recorded a single point each as Milwaukee recorded a workmanlike 4-0 win over San Antonio at the Bradley Center on Thursday night.

It was the fifth win in a row for the Admirals, who opened up a six-point lead atop the West Division.

Finley improved to 21-9-1 with his fourth shutout of the season, and is now tied for the AHL lead in victories this year.

Bryan Lundbohm, Wyatt Smith, Tony Hrkac and Greg Zanon scored for Milwaukee, on assists from eight different players.

Kevin Bieksa and Josh Green scored on Manitoba’s final two shootout attempts to lift the Moose to a 3-2 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the MTS Centre.

It was the second shootout between the teams in the last three days.

Alexandre Burrows and Tomas Mojzis scored in the third period as Manitoba erased a 2-0 deficit. Then down 2-1 in the shootout, the Moose got a goal from Bieksa in the fifth round and one from Green in the first sudden-death round to earn the win.

Manitoba is 6-0-0-1 in its last seven games, and is back in sole possession of first place in the North Division.
